Flip DarrLast Monday (July 6th), my college swim and water polo coach, Flip Darr, passed away. Funnily enough, that is the day I joined a master's swimming team here in Haifa, Israel. Anyone involved in aquatics - particularly in Southern California - knows what a contribution Flip made to swimming. But Flip's humor and advice had (has?) a way of transcending the pool deck....
"The only way to swim fast is to swim fast" (Flip Darr). Are you with me?
