Both of these pictures are taken in Herzaliyyih - a suburb of Tel Aviv. I'm with my friends Joanna and Leili. Herzaliyyih is a little bit like Newport, and many of the foreign diplomats to Israel live here.
This is the night we took Joanna's dad back to the airport and then stopped off for dinner on the way back home to Haifa.
These are some of my new friends. This picture is taken from one of the Terraces of the Shrine of the Bab in Haifa. It's from our first or second week here in Israel. In the front is Leili, from Spain; Anahita, from Australia; Nava, from the US and Puerto Rico; Donesh from the States; and clearly myself!
Life in photos!
Sustainable Resource
So today is my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary, and I've been thinking how many people in my generation will actually make it to this momentous year mark; not because they won't live long enough - but because they might not try hard enough.
Modernity has us always looking for the newest and brightest thing, but what if the next best woke up with you every morning for a lifetime? What if, instead of trading in for the newer model, we learned to fix things? It's entirely possible that I've already lost you - I'm wont to be a little tangential, but just think about it. Recycling is good for you.
